So, the blue fellow is Kane Rosebud, according to documents "liberated" from the Project Thanatos website by Thanatos' Sin. That means one of the youngsters in the image below must be Sam Rosebud, and my guess is that young Sam is none other than Thanatos' Sin himself. Perhaps overcompensating for his flowery last name?
Kane Rosebud is an clear reference to Citizen Kane, which pleases me greatly. I love that film. But I don't see the connection yet. Looking forward to more missions and more information...
EDIT: Information like this. a blog by "John" looking for information about Kane Rosebud, who disappeared in 1990.
